Trip home

Jada and I flew home to visit my parents. We had such a great time! Her first flight! She had a hard time on it, but the second leg was much better - slept the whole time. She did fine, I was sweating crazily! The best part is that she didn't have to be in her carseat. I got to hold her. Beats driving by far.
Brielle loves playing with Jada. She will be a great babysitter pretty soon!

the girls - my Mom and her girls. Monique, Mom, Stacia and me.

My mom and all of her grandkids...Bentley, Kennedy (Monique's), Jada, Brielle & Sicily (Stacia's)

Grandma and Jada playing the piano. It was so precious. Jada loved to touch the keys, and yes, she will be learning more soon! Especially with those long fingers!

Jada and Grandma playing cards against me. We had so much fun with them.

They love each other - and had such a great time. Jada has grown a lot since we were there last and is more smiley and interactive. Mom loved it.
Me and my girl.

We have a new nephew...Matias. He is Scott & Chrissy's. Scott is Jason's brother. They live next to us, so he is our newest neighbor. He is adorable. He was born while me and Jada were in the air on our way home, so we met him that night.
Jada loves him already. They will be buddies...4 months apart.

I do need to update all our readers on my Momma. She is doing great. She looks so good and feels really great. At her last MRI, the doctor said there was 20-25% growth of her cancer. They called about a week later and told my dad that they were wrong on the state of the tumors. The radiologist was out of the office when her scan was done, because the machine had been down, but he went over them later and realized that only ONE of the tumors had grown...from .6 to .9 and the other 5 are stable. What great news! Yes, very annoying that they were wrong. And we were upset with the results, but now we are rejoicing in the update. We are so glad for her stability and are moving forward with her daily treatments. She is not going to do the radiation or chemotherapy, but is happy with her immune therapy. She is not "sick", which we are so grateful for. We are in very close contact with her herbologist/iridologist/nutritionist. She is optimistic and we are all feeling your love and prayers. Thanks for your continued support. We are so very blessed!
