So we played tons of cards while home for Christmas! We made the trek to Wenatchee, WA to spend it with my family and it was such fun - and we are serious game players and eaters. One mid-morning of scum Jared and Jason eyed the pumpkin pie. There was 1/2 left (a Costco=huge pie). They decided to tank it. The race was on.

It started casual...

And here's a shot at the card table...of Sicily (my niece) and Grama. This little girl is so precious!

And a shot of the Christmas Eve Feast! Or part of it. We have a tradition of specific foods on Christmas Eve and they are mostly snacky-type foods with lots of sentimental value, but oh, so yummy!

We were playing cards and Sicily is always being passed around during this time. She was kind of fussy and so I was bouncing her on my leg...and she totally fell asleep. That's what we teach our kids...how to survive game playing no matter what! She was a good luck charm for this hand, we won!

Then as it came to an end, it was a fight for every handful! These two are so funny together - I'm so happy my family loves my husband so much! and who wouldn't?! He fits right in.
